Motel Westcoast

Na de pauze volgt The Best of the Westcoast met o.a. songs van legendarische groepen als The Beach Boys, Crosby, Stills & Nash, The Doobie Brothers, Eagles en Joni Mitchell. 

Meer dan 250.000 bezoekers zagen inmiddels deze muziekproductie. Belangrijkste kenmerk is de meerstemmige zang op ‘olympisch niveau’, waarvan muziekblad OOR schreef: “… zelden hebben de stemmen zo goed bij elkaar gepast.” 

Een keer per twee jaar brengt Motel Westcoast een nieuwe show in het theater, nu al voor het 9e seizoen. De aanstekelijke muziek zorgt avond aan avond voor een dampende zaal vol enthousiaste muziekliefhebbers. Sommigen zien hun jeugd weer aan zich voorbij trekken en anderen ontdekken nieuwe muzikale pareltjes, maar voor iedereen geldt: het is genieten. Nu alweer 15 jaar. En dat had niemand van het gezelschap in 2007 durven dromen. Dat eerste seizoen werd afgesloten in de Heineken Music Hall met een live uitzending op Radio 2, waar méér dan 1.1 miljoen mensen naar luisterden! 

Met o.a. Syb van der Ploeg, Dilana én Brenda Bee, samen met hun vijfkoppige band met o.a. Hubert Heeringa én wederom een special guest! 

Al vanaf 2007 om het jaar op tournee, ze brengen het beste van de Amerikaanse meerstemmige Westcoast muziek, de groep behoort tot de parels van concertshows in de Nederlandse theaters.

Once again, Motel Westcoast is devoting an entire set to one of the world's best-selling bands: Fleetwood Mac. Their album ‘Rumours’ is one of the top 10 best-selling albums in the world! And with more than 120 million records sold, they are among the absolute top of the American Westcoast bands.

After the intermission, The Best of the Westcoast plays songs from legendary groups such as The Beach Boys, Crosby, Stills & Nash, The Doobie Brothers, Eagles and Joni Mitchell.

More than 250,000 visitors have already seen this music production. Their most important feature being their ‘Olympic level’ of polyphonic singing. Music magazine OOR wrote: “... rarely heard such harmonizing voices.”

Once every two years, Motel Westcoast is hitting the theaters with a new show. This is already their 9th season. Thanks to the catchy music, the steaming hall is packed with music lovers every evening. For some it’s a journey back to their youth and for others a discovery of new musical gems. But everyone is just having a ball. They have been going strong for 15 years. Which no one of the band could have pictured when they started in 2007. They finished their first season with a show in the Heineken Music Hall, which was broadcast live on Dutch radio and had more than 1.1 million listeners!

Featuring, among others, Syb van der Ploeg, Dilana and Brenda Bee with their five-member band, including. Hubert Heeringa, and once again a special guest!

They have been on tour every other year since 2007 and bring the best of the American polyphonic Westcoast music. This is one of the best Dutch concert shows.
