Kiosk Aarle-Rixtel
Music tent, built in 1924 in traditionalist shapes, restored in 1974. Freestanding on a lawn on the triangular square in the centre of Aarle-Rixtel.
Description:
Octagonal bandstand on a concrete base with brick corners. On one side there is a brick staircase. Cast iron columns support the wooden ceiling with a pointed roof covered with bitumen. The eaves have a gutter strip. Between the columns is a wooden fence.
Appreciation:
The bandstand is of general importance. The building has cultural-historical value as an example of a cultural development. It has architectural-historical value as an example of a traditionalist bandstand. The object has been preserved intact and is rare.
