On Queen's Day 1986, a number of local residents from the hamlet of 'De Eendracht' in Beek en Donk got together with the aim of founding a neighbourhood music band. For many years there had been a cooperative steam-powered dairy factory on the Kerkstraat in Beek en Donk, which bore the name 'De Eendracht' and had been out of business since 1979 when it was demolished in 1990. A name had to be thought up for the chapel under construction and after passing a number of playful names, the idea was conceived to commemorate the dairy factory by doing something with the name. The steam-powered dairy had a steam whistle with which the workers were called to work or to take a break and, with a little imagination, this could also be seen as a musical instrument. And after some discussion, the name 'Coöperatieve "Stoom "Afblaaskapel de Eendracht' Beek en Donk, abbreviated to C.S.A.K. was chosen and the old 'Stoomzuivelfabriek' was partly historically preserved. And on the morning of Queen's Day 1986 the foundation was a fact. We started with 10 aspirant musicians, who until then could not read music. At the end of 1986 the first public concert was given during a performance in the neighbourhood. Currently, the band has 24 playing members.

Over the years, the band has given many concerts at home and abroad and performs regularly in old people's homes and nursing homes, in amusement parks, at events and at various community activities. Every year on the first Tuesday of July the traditional closing of the season takes place on the Eendracht square, which is centrally located in the hamlet on the Kerkstraat.
