We gather at the Toon Kortooms Park in Deurne, from this historic place the guided walk through Griendtsveen and the Peel starts. The picturesque village of Griendtsveen was founded in the Veen colonial period and still exudes the atmosphere of the past. Our guide tells about the history of this beautiful Peel village and about the history of the Peel area.

The Toon Kortooms Park is located on the spot where regional novelist Toon Kortooms used to live with his brothers and sisters, his father was director of the peat litter factory. If you wish, you can book a visit and/or tour in the Toon Kortooms Museum. There are also plenty of options for a snack and drink. How about a breakfast walk?
