Mill 'the Oostenwind'
Only one beam actually remains of the original that is at least five centuries old: the standard. This is a tall upright axle, around which the entire upper housing of the mill can be turned to the wind.

Most mills in this area are approximately one hundred to one hundred and fifty years old. When these mills were built, it was common to give them a name, but at the end of the Middle Ages, the time when this mill was built, people in this area were not yet in the habit of doing so.
It was only in 2006, with the celebration of the 500th anniversary that the mill was given a name:
'de Oostenwind' (The East Wind).
