At the Martina Hoeve dairy farm in Helmond, homemade yogurt and cheese made from the milk of their own cows are available. The de Brouwer family has been working with dairy cattle for more than 100 years and 5 generations. In great-grandfather's time, the production of milk and other farm products was mainly for personal use.
In the past year, the De Brouwer family has been looking for ways to produce and market more farm products. Their ambition is to market products made on the farm locally as much as possible. In this way, they manage the production chain from start to finish and everything is produced and sold locally from start to finish. This ambition is brought to reality at the Martina Hoeve. A traditional cheese factory and a shop are being built on the Martina Hoeve. In addition to cheese, there will also be yogurt and ice cream, made from milk produced on our own farm. There are also bees that produce honey.
