Dirk Kouwenberg - The King of the Tub
One of the most successful barrel talkers in the Netherlands, Dirk Kouwenberg from Nuland has all the major titles to his name. His characters, from The Student to The Astronaut, are full of original inventions and lightning-fast word jokes. With his boundless energy and sharp wit, he keeps his audience captivated from start to finish. Dirk is also committed to the future of barrel talking by coaching talent and giving workshops. Iveke van Gerven - Brabant Humour with a Wink
Born and raised in carnival-crazy Esbeek, Iveke knew from an early age that she wanted to make people laugh. Becoming a dancing girl was out of the question, but she was more than capable of chatting about it. What started as a joke in the local bar, grew into a true passion. With her sharp humour, witty remarks and a good dose of self-mockery, she knows how to get every audience on board. A breath of fresh air in the world of barrel talk, and you will notice!

Rien van Genugten - The Master of Dry Humour
Rien van Genugten from Sint-Oedenrode has his own unique style. No fuss, no dressing-up, but pure, dry humour. He likes short, powerful jokes and likes to fool his audience. He writes his lyrics himself, so they completely fit his characteristic way of telling stories. When people say his barrel talk is ‘dry, slapdash’, he considers it the best compliment. Rob Scheepers (Helmond) - From Moppentopper to Tonprater
Ever since primary school, Rob Scheepers knew he wanted to make people laugh. His talent became visible early on during school musicals and plays, and in 1997 he broke through on national television with Moppentoppers. In 1998, he was in the barrel for the first time, and things have been going fast ever since. Now he is making his debut at the Zomerton in Mariahout. Here, where his namesake from Sterksel has stood many times before, a dream is also coming true for him. With his sharp observations and infectious humour, he will provide an evening full of recognisable and hilarious moments.
