Stingy Gerda: Saving smartly

Many people immediately think of less fun things when they hear the word ‘save’. That you have to give things up, live more frugally, and that it takes a lot of time looking for offers in supermarkets. But it doesn't have to be that way at all! Savings expert Minke van Kuijen, also known as ‘Gierige Gerda’, shows how to save money smartly without sacrificing free time or fun. She will come and tell more about it at Library de Lage Beemden.

During this talk, you will learn how to save on your groceries without having to go to six different supermarkets every week. They will look at the difference between an offer and a good deal. Soon you will know how to recognise them! You will also discover how to set up a smart pantry and why it is useful. Afterwards, you will know exactly how to start saving at home. That way, you will have more left over for fun things and get the most out of your money!
