Steamboat on its way to Aarle-Rixtel

From faraway Spain, St Nicholas has informed us that he is about to set sail with the steamboat to Aarle-Rixtel. The hold is already full of Pieten, horse and pepernoten, so almost everything is ready for departure.
Sinterklaas says he would really like it if all children and grown-ups from Aarle-Rixtel would come and watch him arrive in the harbour near the bridge towards Bakel. For all children who come to watch, there will be a handshake from the Saint himself and treats from the Pieten. Afterwards, the party will go in procession to the Dreef where the good saint will give a big party for everyone from 2pm. Thanks to generous donations from sponsors, this year's party will again be free for all to visit. As everyone knows, Saint and Pieten will then stay in the country for a few weeks.…

On the Saint's birthday on 6 December, everyone can come and watch the steamboat leave Aarle-Rixtel for Spain again. This too, of course, will be a big party.
