Lecture and exhibition Madelief de Korte

Young Photographer Award winner, Madelief de Korte, is coming to the Library in Beek en Donk! She will tell them about her work, her passion for photography and about the making of the winning photo series. Before the lecture, some of her works can be admired.
Madelief (23) has been photographing since childhood. When she first got her hands on her mother's camera, she was immediately sold. After secondary school, she studied photography at Sint Lucas in Eindhoven. She then did a bachelor of photography at the LUCA school of arts, Narafi in Brussels. Here she even graduated Magna Cum Laude. Her work has already gained worldwide admiration: from the Netherlands to Africa, Paris and Belgium. But partly because of this award, her work is officially recognised and awarded Europe-wide.
