The Bavaria fire brigade is celebrating its 45th anniversary this year and is holding its 38th annual fire competition at the Bavaria brewery grounds in Lieshout. This competition is known as realistic, improvisational and educational.
As part of the 45th anniversary, the incident has to be extra spectacular and fought with multiple teams. Definitely worth coming to watch. Participating corps are: Fire Brigade Nuenen De Rips, Aarle-Rixtel, Bakel, Lieshout, Beek en Donk, Mierlo, Maarheeze and Gemert.

You are welcome to visit this competition. They want spectators to experience what the profession of firefighter-woman entails by showing up close how fire teams tackle and solve a problem. The (future fire brigade) children have also been thought of. They can drive a battery-powered fire engine themselves, have a contest to see who can spray a fire engine ahead the fastest and the children can have fun on a bouncy castle. By participating in these activities, you will receive a spraying certificate and a surprise, so plenty of activities for young and old. Spectators can report to the porter's lodge at Stater 5 in Lieshout. There you will be picked up by a fire engine. The competition starts at 8am and the last teams will start around 3pm.
