National Senior Citizens Day

In Laarbeek, National Seniors' Day will be held. Although the official date of National Parents‘ Day falls on the first Friday of October, the joint Senior Citizens’ Associations of Aarle-Rixtel, Beek en Donk, Lieshout and Mariahout have deliberately chosen to hold the event on Saturday afternoon.

The festivities will take place at the Multifunctional Centre De Dreef in Aarle-Rixtel. The hall will be open half an hour before the start of the programme. It will be an afternoon of fun, where no one needs to be a member of a society to participate.
One of the highlights of the afternoon will be the performance by the cover band ‘On the Road Again’.

Admission includes coffee/tea and a consumption. Traditionally, there will also be a raffle with wonderful prizes after the event. Only 210 tickets are available for the whole of Laarbeek, so be quick! Tickets will be available in advance at the various Seniors/CBO associations in the municipality on the following dates and locations: Aarle-Rixtel: Tuesday 10 September, 10.00 - 11.00, in De Dreef. Beek en Donk: Tuesdays 10 and 24 September, 10.00 - 11.30 am, in De Waterpoort. Lieshout: Tuesday 3 and 17 September, 10.00 - 11.30 am, in the Dorpshuis. Mariahout: Wednesday 11 and 25 September, 10.00 - 11.30 am, at the Buurthuis. Don't miss this cosy spectacle!
