In Beek en Donk, Dalton primary school ‘t Otterke is collecting for Jantje Beton, the charity dedicated to enabling all children in the Netherlands to play outside in safe playgrounds. 50% of the proceeds will go to the school to do fun things with the children outside! The school also wants to organise a great camp for the 8th grade!

The importance of playing
More than 400,000 children in the Netherlands never play outside! Jantje Beton is very concerned. Playing outside is very important for a healthy and happy child. Too little exercise causes physical problems. No direct contact with other children makes them depressed and anxious.
