Calligraphy workshop

Anita Aarts van Grinsven gives a calligraphy workshop at Howeko.

Anita has been calligraphing since she was 15 and has gained a lot of experience. Meanwhile, she has worked with various pens and has calligraphed many documents, cards, Saint Nicholas poems, greeting cards and gift tags. This extra attention to taking care of written work is appreciated and valued. Nowadays, much of it is done by computer, which she sometimes finds very unfortunate. As the festive season will soon be upon us, she enjoys sharing this knowledge. Her experience is that you can also do calligraphy without incurring high costs. 

What do you need during this workshop?
1. A liner or ring binder; Anita has these available but you may also bring your own
2. Calligraphy marker; she can purchase these for €2.75 each.
3. Highlighter; Anita can bring these from home if necessary.
4. Decorative markers; Anita can buy these for €2.25 each. Is not necessary, but will be used to make decorative letters.

Please let Anita know before Saturday 2 November if there is interest in any of the materials. The workshop itself costs €2.00 per person and refreshments are €1.00 each.
