The artwork Land, Air, Water was created in the mid-1960s by Eindhoven artist Willy Mignot (1915-1972). With the artwork, he wanted to depict the balance between the elements land, air and water. Three bronze figures in the artwork symbolise the elements: a lion, a fish and a bird. The three large figures in a spiral shape rest on a narrow high plinth. The animals seem connected in a permanent movement.

Three bronze figures in the artwork symbolise the elements: a lion, a fish and a bird. The three large figures in a spiral shape rest on a narrow high plinth. The animals seem connected in a permanent movement.
The artwork was installed in 1967 in front of the Arenco PNB machine factory in Best. When the factory changed hands, the sculpture was moved to a central heating boiler factory in Beek en Donk on Beekerheide. The building -and thus the artwork- of the central heating boiler manufacturer was taken over by the company Safe in the mid-1980s. After the Safe director retired, the artwork was placed in his backyard. In 2023, he donated the artwork to the municipality of Laarbeek. After a thorough refurbishment by Theo Coenen (Eindhoven), it was reinstalled 16 October 2024 near its previous location.
