Café Deja Vu

Authentic features of this café were preserved and at the same time, a fresh look was given to the whole with which Deja Vu wants to convey that it is intended for everyone. Deja Vu aims at young and old and, apart from the villagers, also likes to see guests from outside in the café.

HERTOG JAN & JUPILER
In the spring of 2015, café Deja Vu got its own piece of character again, Jupiler and Hertog Jan are on tap from then on. With this, the guests have the possibility to choose from two different kinds of lager with, in addition, a changing offer of beautiful and seasonally adjusted special beers on tap.

LIVE MUSIC
Owner Dave Jansen, musician in heart and soul, is running out of time with his café to make really active music and be a part of bands and performances. Café Deja Vu gives him the opportunity to play music in all shapes and sizes, and to let people enjoy it... And he does so with love and pleasure! Deja Vu already had many musicians, bands and artists enter its stage, think of rock band System Pilot, pop / rock band StringKings, Popstars winner Dean Saunders, soul band The Flaming Sambucas, reggae band Friction & The Rootsdrivers, rockabilly band Hi-Tombs and the cover band of Aarle-Rixtel No Exit!

The Kiosk festivities are also entirely devoted to live music. This event took place for the first time in the summer of 2016, during Kermis Aarle-Rixtel. For 4 days, the café was closed and staff stood behind the bar on the event grounds to provide the audience, who were spoiled with very diverse musical entertainment (bands, duos, DJs, bands, solo artists), with a refreshing drink. 

Carnival
In 2017, café Deja Vu, together with other catering entrepreneurs under the name A-R Events, managed to provide the village with a gigantic party location during Carnival in ''t Alese'. For the first time a big marquee on the Heuvelplein! A big investment in all respects, but with great pleasure, Deja Vu throws itself into this event, together with fellow entrepreneurs and involved organisations, to create a grandiose spectacle for all Carnival celebrators in Aarle-Rixtel! 

Christmas festival
On 23 December 2017, Kerstival took place for the first time. Also an event set up by A-R Events, of which Deja Vu is a part. The whole day there was plenty of entertainment, mulled wine, hot chocolate and delicious snacks to keep the inner man warm. A cosy Christmas market, entertainment for the kids, a visit from Father Christmas, fires, lights and plenty of live music. A wonderful happening in the small village that brings people together! 

DJ'S & TOF!
There is also regularly room for DJs! In this we also bring as much variation as possible, diversity in sound & experience, so from all-round to boogie, from 00's to electronic dance, from Dutch to hardstyle, etc. An annual multiple and grand event is TOF! which started in 2015 and has been a great success from the very first moment! In TOF! too, we let different themes play the leading role each time. For example, we closed 2016 with TOF! SinterKerst&Nieuw.

DARTS & GAMES
Besides music, games are also an important element and at Deja Vu you will find them in small (bar) games, card games, pool billiards, cosy pub quiz nights and darts. Darts is not only played recreationally, but also in competition with various teams every week. Throughout the year, there are regular tournament evenings (such as Dave & Dave Ranking).
