Senior citizens' choir Vogelzang 50 years

Seniors‘ choir Vogelenzang from Lieshout, part of Seniors’ Association Lieshout, is 50 years old and they want to celebrate.

A cosy afternoon will be held at Bavaria Brewery Café in Lieshout. There will be a performance by the choir the Rooise Dommelklanken and Seniorenkoor Vogelenzang.

As part of the anniversary, a choir day will be held on 19 November at the Village Hall in Lieshout, for which a number of choirs have already signed up. Seniors‘ choir Vogelenzang is affiliated to LOVOK, the National Organisation of Seniors’ Choirs, and LOVOK also celebrates its 50th anniversary this year. On 10 October, LOVOK will celebrate with performances by the affiliated choirs that are also celebrating their 50th anniversary this year. Apart from the Lieshout choir, these include choirs from Helmond, Rosmalen, Someren and Wijchen. Seniors' choir Vogelenzang currently has over 30 members and would like to see this membership expanded. Do you like singing and have you ever thought about joining a choir? Then come along to the rehearsal on Monday afternoons at 13.30. In the summer months (from April to October), rehearsals are held in St Servatius Church and in the winter months in the Village Hall. The choir has a wide international repertoire, a good conductor and friendly members. Can't sing? Then you are also welcome.
