The Village Hall in Lieshout is the setting for a special musical afternoon: Rhythms & Jazz. This concert brings together four different musical groups for an afternoon of percussion and jazz.

The participants in this concert are the percussion group of Harmonie St Caecilia Lieshout, the percussion group of HMC from Helmond, J.E.M Hammond & Drums ánd BBC Jazz. For the two percussion groups, both led by Rob van der Sommen, the concert offers a great opportunity to test their programme for projects later in the year.

The Lieshout percussionists are busy preparing the interactive family performance RAAK! The Helmond-based percussion group is preparing for the jazz festival ‘Jazz in Catstown’ in Helmond, where they will shine together with J.E.M Hammond & Drums in August. BBC Jazz completes the afternoon with a varied repertoire of jazz, funk and Latin.
