‘Op Dreef!’ is a hurricane of jokes, characters and songs. Look inside the head of someone who understands everything in the universe except our planet. When he was four years old, Arie Vuyk had a near-death experience. Back on earth, he started getting annoyed by Swiss pocket knives, average taste, stickers and museums. That was all much better regulated in the afterlife. He introduces a new way of playbacking and dwelling on the phenomenon of the green flash. He seeks an answer to the question of whether we can also be happy without meaning courses. If the whole world is your home, why do we want to live large? Vuyk laughs those questions away with you and that is heaven on earth. Arie Vuyk has won three cabaret festivals, appeared on television and performed in New York and Reykjavik in English.
