The style of the building is composed of various motifs: the roof with wooden panelling with a three-panel motif has elements of the Chaletstyle, the steep roof slope and a large overhang give it a Neo-Gothic appearance.

The one-storey brick building has a rectangular ground plan and is covered by an asymmetrical (because lower at the back) compound saddle roof with Tuile-de-Nord tiles. The roof has a steep slope and a substantial overhang on carved wooden corbels. The brickwork has a mottled hardstone plinth and bands in a different colour of brick. The high gables are timbered. The building comprises three parts: on the ground floor, the actual coach stable and a horse stable, while the attic contains a hayloft. This hayloft is accessed via a hatch with a hoisting system under a cantilevered gable, above the entrance gate to the stables. The facades feature simple lights with a compound frame. The room next to the stables has a front door with a compound twill overhead light, flanked by lights, and in the side wall a compound window, made up of a central six-pane sliding window, flanked by a T-sliding window.

The coach house is of general importance. The building is of cultural-historical importance as a special expression of the development of Catholicism in the South and is also important for the typological development of the coach house. It is of architectural-historical importance because of its special style and as an exceptional example of the late work of C. Franssen. It has ensemble values as a visual centre of the partly industrial built-up area around the Zuid Willemsvaart. It is of importance because of the architectural integrity of the exterior.
