Traditionally, the good saint and the Pieten come to Mariahout the day after the national entry. All Mariahout children are welcome to welcome Saint Nicholas to the village. Accompanied by harmony St Caecilia, the Saint's tour will be through the village.

The route is as follows: Buurthuis, Bernadettestraat, Wilhelminastraat, Julianastraat, Bernadettestraat and Buurthuis. Starting this year, the procession will be closed by the collectors, to ensure that they can welcome the Saint to Mariahout for a long time to come. After the tour (about 2.30pm), all children up to and including group 5 are welcome in the Buurthuis for a nice programme in which Toneelgroep Mariahout will provide an exciting Sinterklaas story and the mayor will officially welcome Sinterklaas.
For children from group 6, 7 and 8 there will be a special bingo starting at 14:30. The programme ends for everyone at around 3.30pm.
