Discover where music and environment meet. O&U cordially invites you to an unforgettable evening in Muziekcentrum Het Anker in Beek en Donk. The wind orchestra of the Koninklijke Harmonie Oefening en Uitspanning will present a special concert that will touch not only your ears, but also your heart. The centrepiece will be the masterpiece ‘The Blue Marble’ by renowned composer Julie Giroux. This musical work takes you on a musical journey through the wonders and challenges of the earth.
‘The Blue Marble’, also known as ‘The Blue Marble’, is inspired by the famous photograph of the earth from space and deals with themes such as the fragility of our ecosystem and the impact of human activities. During the concert, the musical performances are accompanied by impressive film images that reinforce the message of the piece. 
Prior to the concert, O&U is organising a sustainability fair from 7pm to 8pm. Here, you will have the chance to meet local initiatives committed to sustainability. This market will provide a platform for awareness-raising, with stands ranging from information on sustainable technologies to upcycling and natural products.

The details of the sustainability fair are being worked on, but interactive activities are being considered, such as a sustainability quiz that will give you insight into environmental issues and workshops where you will learn how to make your own sustainable products, from reusable shopping bags to natural cleaning products. A great way to express your creativity while contributing to a better environment.
Admission to the concert includes one consumption. It is a chance to enjoy beautiful music and become aware of what you can do for a better planet and a bright future together.
