Open Day Care farm the Malbergh

Care farm the Malbergh is holding an open day. Everyone is welcome to come and take a look at the care farm!

This small-scale care farm welcomes children, young people, adults and elderly people with disabilities for a meaningful and fun day. The different target groups work together and complement each other in a very positive way! There are participants with autism, non-congenital brain injury, mental and/or physical disabilities, ADHD, but also people with dementia, who just cannot keep up with society or who are lonely. 

There are many different animals on the farm, such as dogs and puppies, rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, birds, pigs, sheep and goats, chickens, a mini cow, a mini donkey and a pony, which can be ridden leisurely.
There is also a greenhouse, a large vegetable garden, a beautiful flower garden, an orchard and a yard where everyone can help. There is a workshop for doing odd jobs and dismantling. Delicious cakes are baked and household chores done in the kitchen.

The space, tranquillity, animals and nature are relaxing and healing!
During the Open Day, you can cuddle animals, ride a pony, go on a scavenger hunt, go-kart track, do face painting and, of course, coffee/tea/tea with sweets will be served! Explanations about the farm will be given during the guided tours. The day is graced with pleasant music and singing.

The participants are super proud to showcase their farm! Come smell, taste, feel and enjoy this fine place!!!
