The Lieshout Village Council is once again holding its monthly Repair Café. In the Village Hall at Grotenhof 2, it will then be all about repairing and meeting people. Various craftsmen will be on hand to help.

Clothing, small wooden furniture pieces, bicycles and small household electrical appliances can all get a second chance. Tools and materials are available. People who visit the Repair Café bring broken things from home with them. Toasters, lamps, hairdryers, clothing, bicycles, toys, crockery ... everything that no longer works is welcome and has a chance of being successfully repaired. The Repair Café experts almost always know what to do.

By promoting repair, the Lieshout Village Council wants to help reduce the amount of waste. In the Netherlands a lot of things are thrown away. Unfortunately many people no longer have a repair system. The Village Council wants to change this with the Repair Café.

The Repair Café is for all residents of Laarbeek and its surroundings. It also serves to bring residents into contact with each other in a different way and to discover that there is a lot of knowledge and practical skills available in the neighbourhood. Repairing together can lead to very nice contacts in the neighbourhood. But above all, with the Repair Café they want to show that repairing is fun, and often very easy.
