EHBO cursus

Laarbeek's two First Aid associations are jointly launching a First Aid course. The course is intended for anyone who wants to have more or more extensive expertise in providing First Aid. This course is complete with CPR, AED and paediatric first aid. All first aid is covered. With the Oranje Kruis diploma, you will be able to administer first aid correctly. 

Accidents can happen anywhere: at home, at work, while playing sports or on the street. Then it is important that you know how to act. What should you do if someone sprains their ankle, cuts their finger or worse: if someone loses consciousness or suffers breathing difficulties, bleeding, burns, poisoning, broken bones or injuries caused by heat or cold? Then you don't want to be left empty-handed and speed is of the essence. The First Aid course teaches what to do, but also what not to do. To make practising as 'real' as possible, LOTUS victims are called in. 

With a first aid diploma in your pocket, you will be able to provide adequate help. You will also learn to perform CPR and use the AED (Automatic External Defibrillator). Led by a teacher, you will learn in 10 lessons how to act when something happens. The course concludes with an exam, conducted by an independent examination team. The course will be held at the Village Hall in Lieshout. Thanks to a discount, they can, for residents of Laarbeek, offer this course for €100.00 per person. Depending on your policy, many health insurers reimburse a large part of the course costs. Check with your health insurer whether you are eligible for this.
