Textielfabriek Raymakers Kanaaldijk N.W. 61 - Helmond
The former factory on the Kanaaldijk is an elongated building with a concrete skeleton. Today, the building houses the Raymakers headquarters, and the main entrance is also located here.
The factory with the water tower also has a concrete skeleton structure. The building is characterized by sawtooth roofs. A notable feature is the depiction of a phoenix atop the dome-roofed clock on the water tower. Above the entrance is a stained glass representation, and the entrance hall is dominated by a monumental staircase. Despite the size of the façade (compared to the modest entrance of the building on the Kanaaldijk), it was only briefly or never used as the main entrance.
The prominent factory holds both architectural and socioeconomic value.
