Alpaca walk
In the adjacent Bospark Bakel you go for a walk with alpacas over beautiful forest paths. Each animal has its own character and they determine the pace of the walk, so you can completely relax! There are different walking routes, a butterfly garden, a gnome forest and a walk along the Peelrand fault. After a short introduction, you will set off together with some alpacas. On the picnic meadow there is time for a drink, a tasty apple pie and of course space for a photo opportunity with the alpacas.

The walking package lasts about 1.5 to 2 hours and costs €22.50 per person. Children ages 3 to 12 are €15 per person.

Alpacafarm
We established our alpaca farm in 2010 with the purchase of some mares. We were looking for animals for our pasture around the farm. Soon we ended up with alpacas. These beautiful animals are great to look at but certainly have even more advantages. For children they are an ideal companion animal. Friendly, accessible, not dangerous and easy to tame. They require relatively little maintenance feed (low cost). They make little to no noise (they hum a little). In addition, they are not required to wear an ear number like a sheep or cow with all the annual administrative work (cost) that comes with it. People stop by our pasture every day to watch these beautiful animals. Especially when another foal is born they are enjoyed along the road. In recent years we have expanded our herd little by little with some stallions and mares. This way we try to improve genetics, quality and appearance with our breeding program.
