A Stroll Through Helmond

Children aged 4 to 12 can explore the center of Helmond with the new children’s route: ‘A Stroll Through Helmond.’ This route takes children and their companions along Helmond’s characteristic spots, teaching them about the past and encouraging interaction with their surroundings. The route is completed using an activity booklet. There are two different versions: one for children aged 4-7 and one for children aged 8-12.

Discovering Through Play

Using colorful illustrations and puzzles, children learn to explore Helmond's characteristic spots in a playful way. The route isn’t just fun for children—there’s plenty for the adults accompanying them to discover as well. The children’s routes start at the VVV on Piet Blomplein near the cube houses. The route takes you past landmarks such as the castle and the canal, ending in the beautiful Burgemeester Geukerspark with its new playground.

For the Youngest and Slightly Older Children

‘A Stroll Through Helmond’ is available in two versions. For children aged 4 to 7, there is an activity booklet. With this booklet, companions can explore the puzzle route through the city with their children. For children aged 8 to 12, there is an activity card. With this foldable route map, children can independently explore the route and solve the puzzles. Activity booklets and cards can be picked up for free at VVV Helmond, Oude Aa 49.
