Seniorenorkest St Caecilia

To continue making music as long and as well as possible in old age, that was the aim of the senior orchestra when it was founded in 1994. Fortunately, this is still the case, and sociability is also of paramount importance to this musical group. The members are all 55 years or older.

Every year, the orchestra performs some 15 to 20 times, including at care homes and nursing homes and at festive events in Laarbeek, but also beyond. The orchestra's repertoire consists of pleasant music such as polkas, waltzes, marches and other popular music of various genres. But also a musical enlivenment of a Eucharist celebration fits in their repertoire.
