This year we have chosen white wine from Italy, a Grillo from its birthplace, the island of Sicily. Night picking on this warm island preserves the slightly floral and fresh fruity notes. The wine sparkles golden yellow in the glass with a scent of tropical fruit, sage and Mediterranean herbs. This continues into the fresh yet full-bodied fruity taste with the addition of juicy, mineral notes. The red wine comes from France. Deliciously full-bodied Southern French from Cabernet Sauvignon. This grape gives the wine a touch of fine spice and soft tannins while the Merlot provides the blissful grapey finish. A delicious grape combination with elegant depth. They also have a special beer this year, a tripel sourced from a Bavaria brewery in Belgium, marketed locally under the name Cornet.

The members of harmony Oefening & Uitspanning will go door-to-door with an order form with which you can make your order known, via a special mail address or simply by depositing it in the mailbox of Muziekcentrum Het Anker, Pater Vogelstraat 39 in Beek en Donk. The wine and/or beer will be delivered neatly to your home. The price is €7.00 for a bottle of wine or beer, both delivered in 75-cl bottles. Hopefully they may count on your support again this year with this wine and beer campaign.
