Street art - The Workers
This artwork is a collaboration between the organizations Van Gogh Brabant and Zuidlijn (with financial support from Stichting Carat). The idea behind this collaboration is to connect the five major cities in Brabant through cultural projects.

Each city has a mural related to Vincent van Gogh, all located near the railway line. Why? The painter traveled frequently by train and was fascinated by trains and stations. The landscapes he observed during his travels served as inspiration for his paintings.
You can view the final result on the four pillars under the Kasteel-Traverse viaduct, on either side of the canal. The pillars can be viewed individually but are also interconnected. One side always shows the ‘worker,’ while the other side is a variation of the Brabant landscape. The mural features elements like the church Van Gogh often painted, wooden logs, and fields. To fully appreciate it, you need to walk around the mural.
