Mountain bike trails in Asten
Mountain biking is an active sport that is practiced by more and more people. Cycling in nature on paved paths with climbs and descents is also a real challenge. The area in Southeast Brabant offers an enormous variety in landscape and subsoil and is therefore extremely suitable for this popular sport.
The municipality of Asten has opened up a number of beautiful areas for the sporty mountain biker. The course was created in collaboration with TWC (www.twcasten.nl). The varied course consists of four separate rounds, which can be linked together via connecting routes. The mountain bike trails in Someren and Deurne can also be reached via the connecting routes.

The entire course can be be described sharply. Nevertheless, the routes are also easy to cycle for less trained mountain bikers. The asphalted connecting routes are probably a welcome change after climbing and descending!

- The routes are indicated by red signposts and are set out in one direction. The connections can be recognized by the signs with black arrows and the text 'connection route'. A code of conduct has been developed by a number of authorities to allow everyone to enjoy the beautiful nature. These rules ensure that all visitors to the nature reserves can recreate next to each other. The routes are available at VVV Asten.
