But there is also no lack of theatre performances or exhibitions. Every two years, the Laarbeek Art Route is organised, starting at the Oude Raadhuis in Beek en Donk. It offers visual artists, from amateur to professional, in the municipality of Laarbeek the opportunity to exhibit their work. Or think of the world-famous festival Wish Outdoor, which was created in 2008 by a group of friends from Laarbeek. For a moment, you can clear your head and dance to the music of big names such as Marco Borsato, D-Block & S-te-Fan and Q-Music Foute Party. In addition, a film cycle is organised every year, which shows a different film every week in a different core. Each year, the film cycle has a new theme.
